Who reviews the content
Aziza Smailovic is a mathematics and physics educator with more than twenty years of teaching experience. She has taught mathematics, physics and chemistry at both elementary and high school level. She holds a BSc in Physics, evaluated by WES as a US-equivalent degree, and has passed the Praxis 5165 Mathematics: Content Knowledge examination as part of her New Jersey mathematics certification.
Written four textbooks, and still teaching
She is the author of four Ministry-approved physics textbooks and problem books, published under the surname Skoko: Physics 7, Physics 8, and the accompanying problem books for grades 7 and 8. She also founded Aziza Physics Online, a platform she has been writing and teaching through for more than ten years. Writing a textbook and answering the same question from a hundred different students are different skills, and this site benefits from both.
Review, not tuition
Her role here is to confirm that the mathematics is correct, that each step is justified by the rule named beside it, and that the common mistakes listed are the ones learners actually make. She does not answer individual questions through this site — MathNana is built so that is not necessary. One-to-one teaching is a separate thing, and it is what her tutoring practice is for.
What a review covers
The result itself; every intermediate step; the wording of each rule shown in the margin; the edge cases where a calculator should decline to answer rather than guess; and whether the explanation would make sense to somebody meeting the topic for the first time. That last test is the one that fails most often, and it is why the common mistakes sections exist at all.
When pages are re-checked
Whenever the underlying calculator changes, and on a rolling schedule otherwise. The date shown on each page is the date of the last completed review, not the date the page was first written.
